COVID-19 FAQ

We would like to thank you for those who answered the Family Survey.  We thank you for the many kind words and words of encouragement!  Although this situation is frequently changing, we have compiled a list of the Frequently Asked Questions from this survey and from emails sent to Board Members.

Please note that these questions are answered based on information provided to us from State and Local Officials, as well as guidance from RI District-3 LL Baseball.  We will edit this list and its contents as new information is made available.

If the season is canceled or if I do not wish for my child to play, how do I receive a refund?

The revised Refund Policy can be found at the following link: Refund Policy.

We ask that all families seeking a refund or who wish to donate their registrations fees for league renovations complete the Request for Refund Form.  Please note that once this form is completed, your child’s registration will be canceled for the 2020 baseball season.

We understand that there are many factors as to why a family would seek a refund and we also appreciate those families who are willing to ride this out and hope that the season can be played later this summer!

Will we be notified when the season will begin and uniforms will be ordered?

Yes.  Once we receive word that we can Play Ball, I assume you will hear cheering from the rooftops, fireworks and a celebration that will rival any Mardi Gras parade!  Seriously though, when we hear that baseball can be played (whenever that occurs) we will send emails and post on social media.

What precautions will be put into place when we are allowed to play baseball?

When / if we receive the word that baseball can be played at WNLL, we will work with State and Local officials, as well as with RI District-3 Little League Baseball officials to develop a comprehensive plan to ensure the safety of our players, coaches and families.

Why don’t we just hold games or practices on the fields and call them camps?

First and foremost, we have not been granted field permits for any field within the City of Warwick.  Any attempt to circumvent State and Local guidelines will put us at great risk to lose our use of city fields for future use.
